Since their creation in 1985 by Coluche, the Restos du Coeur have pursued a fundamental mission to combat poverty and exclusion in all its forms in France, by providing aid and assistance to destitute people as a priority, and more broadly to all those in need. The Restos du Coeur provide food assistance, but go far beyond by committing to offer personal support and to accompany people over the long term and throughout the year.
