Les oeuvres Sociales de la Fraternité

La Frat' is a hundred-year-old association located in the Chantenay neighborhood in Nantes. Since its inception, the association has carried out two types of activities: • Solidarity actions for people in difficulty or living on the streets: free clothing assistance, distribution of soup and free breakfasts every morning, digital workshops, literacy classes, distribution of food parcels, etc. • Community activities in the neighborhood including secondhand shops, a Bike Workshop, a neighborhood composting site, and activities for residents (neighborhood tours, tarot introduction classes, cooking workshops, etc.). Key figures: • 5 paid staff members • 80 active volunteers
