Les Chachoux carries out activities to promote the well-being of cats and their owners. We organize cat rescues and place them in foster families while awaiting adoption. We ensure they receive the medical care they need (vaccination, parasite treatment, identification, sterilization, treatments, etc.). Once the cat is ready, we contact adoption candidates and ensure our cats find their forever families. We also offer a cat-sitting service to cat owners (the association holds the ACACED certificate) and provide advice and support to people who reach out to us with specific questions about their feline companions. We also organize awareness campaigns on cat well-being (cat and animal welfare days, awareness sessions in schools, participation in forums, etc.). In 2022, we are also undertaking a project to establish living spaces for stray cats that are not socialized. In short, a very rewarding activity for cat lovers!
