Our branch "Les Auxiliaires des Aveugles de l'Ain," affiliated with the national organization "Les Auxiliaires des Aveugles" based in Paris, has been in existence for 60 years and has held public utility status since 1974. We provide people with visual impairments with support in their daily lives. The volunteer "lends" their eyes for the duration of the support mission. We connect visually impaired individuals with volunteers to assist them with tasks they cannot perform alone: - outdoor accompaniment (medical visits, errands, train stations, walks, etc.) - home visits (administrative support, reading, conversation, assistance with digital tools, etc.) It is always the volunteer who chooses their assignments based on their availability.
