Founded in 2007, the association gained new momentum in 2015 following the attacks. A group of residents then decided to revitalize the association with the aim of raising awareness among neighborhood residents about the values of citizenship. The association's goals are to promote citizenship values and develop civic education initiatives across Montpellier and beyond; implement actions with philanthropic, educational, social, humanitarian, sports, and family purposes, contributing to the protection of the natural environment, thereby taking part in a project of general interest, opening itself to all audiences while maintaining a non-profit, secular and apolitical character for its activities, and guaranteeing democratic and transparent operation while preserving the disinterested nature of its management.
