The French Remembrance preserves the memory of those who died for France or honored it through noble actions. It maintains, under certain conditions, the graves of those who died for France and war memorials. This association, founded in 1887, drives commemorative life by organizing patriotic ceremonies alongside veterans' associations. The French Remembrance intervenes in schools to discuss the symbols of the Republic (the Marseillaise, the Flame of the Nation, etc.) and to pass on the memory of the women and men who defended the values of the Republic.
