Solidarity, mutual aid, and sharing are the core values of The Lighthouse of the Two Poles Association, founded in April 2015 and dedicated to people living with bipolar disorder. It offers its member participants support groups, thematic workshops, wellness activities, outings, and an annual cultural excursion. The association received accreditation from the ARS (Regional Health Agency) in May 2023. It works in collaboration with the City of Nice and the Alpes-Maritimes Department, through its Founder-President and active members, to raise awareness about mental health in general, foster a different perspective on bipolar disorder in particular, and combat stigmatization.
