La Riche Ludique (LRL), a nonprofit association established under French law, was created by two gaming enthusiasts who identified the following gap. In the Tours region, people play games at home, in clubs, in specialized shops, or in board game bars, but there is no event that brings people together in significant numbers for a genuine gathering, to promote cultural diversity, spark discovery, and explore new gaming practices. LRL's objective is to unite gaming associations and game libraries from the region that join forces with a single goal: to share the pleasure of gaming with as many people as possible. With the support of the municipality of La Riche near Tours, LRL organizes Touraine en Jeux, a major gaming weekend to be held on July 6 & 7, 2024 at the Bialy Complex, Rue du Petit Plessis, 37520 La Riche.
