La Pince is a textile resource center located in the Saint Martin neighborhood in Brest. For the past 10 years, its secondhand clothing and haberdashery shop has offered clothing and sewing supplies, as well as courses and workshops dedicated to textile arts. These workshops invite people to learn techniques that enable them to create and/or enhance their own items. Taking part in La Pince's initiative means enabling more people to dress with dignity and access professional courses and workshops at very affordable prices. It's also, of course, a way to combat the enormous waste of the textile industry by giving new value to clothing and fabrics through repair, customization, and transformation.
