La Maison de Lys is an association located in the Béthune Bruay Artois Lys Romane Urban Agglomeration in France. Our objective is to create a living environment suited to people with neurodegenerative diseases. Our mission is to promote inclusion and raise community awareness of the specific needs of people with neurodegenerative diseases. The La Maison de Lys project focuses on designing adapted spaces that prioritize safety, cognitive stimulation, and social interaction. - Adapted design: Spaces will be designed to minimize confusion, with contrasting colors and visual landmarks to facilitate navigation. - Enhanced safety: We will implement safety measures, such as non-slip ramps and grab bars, to ensure resident safety. - Sensory stimulation: Sensory gardens and calming visual elements will be integrated to promote cognitive stimulation. - Social spaces: We are creating welcoming common areas to encourage social interaction among residents.
