La Fourmilière is a community of 7,000+ people with the ambition of making volunteering as friendly and accessible as having a drink with friends! Through its Facebook group and Instagram account, La Fourmilière brings its community together with other associations, while also launching its own initiatives and missions. The missions are always enjoyable and one-off, ranging from conversation workshops with newcomers, urban gardening, redistribution of unsold food, outreach to homeless people, and more. La Fourmilière makes it easy to take that first step into the world of volunteering! It also helps overcome the barriers to volunteering such as lack of time, the need to register, and limited knowledge of the non-profit sector!
