L'Armoire Commune is an object library association in Dijon. We believe it is no longer necessary to own everything to enjoy things. Why buy a drill, tent, or raclette machine that you'll use only a few times a year when we could share them instead? For this reason, we provide a catalog of objects (DIY, gardening, cleaning, event planning, leisure, etc.) to borrow after simple membership in the association. In parallel, we run repair and usage workshops to extend the lifespan of objects, while also teaching people how to maintain and use them. Our mission is to accelerate the transition toward a sharing economy to: - Reduce our environmental impact by fighting overconsumption and waste production - Reduce spending for individuals and organizations by offering an affordable alternative to purchasing - Create social connections and knowledge-sharing at the local level. Why join us? 🤝 L'Armoire Commune is a young project in full development, overflowing with ideas and powered by collective energy. By joining us, you act concretely and at your scale for a more sustainable territory.
