Disposable packaging has never been more prevalent in our society. It continues to require ever more fossil resources and energy to produce, and is most often incinerated, despite typically being used for only a few minutes. Furthermore, we now understand the harmful effects these items have on human health and biodiversity. In order to move away from a disposable culture, a collective came together to develop concrete circular economy services to reduce food packaging waste in the Jura department. Thus, the association Ju' Ramène Ta Boîte has the mission to: Promote and develop the reuse of food packaging in the Jura department. It aims to: ● Raise awareness among the general public and food service professionals, to encourage behavioral change ● Support food and restaurant professionals who wish to integrate reusable food packaging into their activities ● Create, operate and coordinate local reuse solutions and cycles for food packaging, by cooperating with all relevant stakeholders.
