J'accueille- Antenne de Tours

J'accueille promotes welcoming practices in private homes and cohabitation between citizens from around the world within households, as well as all innovative housing solutions that foster intercultural meeting and exchange. Our goal is to cultivate, in the countries where the association operates, a culture of hospitality among residents. This culture should create spaces and moments for living together, deconstruct prejudices about migration and asylum, support the flourishing of newcomers in their host society, and build openness and empathy among host families and their social networks, in order to create a more inclusive society. To this end, J'accueille encourages, monitors, and supports cohabitations of all durations between local citizens and people newly arrived in their host society, with the aim of achieving mutual intercultural enrichment and building an open society that is better informed and more aware of migration issues.
