Here, we no longer swim in water, but in ideas, images, and words. In this reinvented space at the heart of Brest, in the upper Jaurès district, we believe that art can connect, open doors, and transform. La Piscine is a collective space run by the nonprofit Human Soul, founded by two artists (Anne-Laure Maison & Michel Cam) for whom creating means giving a voice, a form, a presence to those whose voices are not always heard. Here, art is a universal language, a link, a way of bringing differences into dialogue. A space for experimentation, listening, and otherness. A place where boundaries fade away, where artists from here and elsewhere cross their visions, and where the public is invited to dive fearlessly into the unknown. La Piscine is a space to fill with creations, stories, and presences. A place of emergence and encounter, in a vibrant, popular, cosmopolitan neighborhood. A place to question ourselves, be moved, and imagine the world differently. Welcome to La Piscine. Here, art is movement. Art is connection. Art is commitment.
