For over 30 years, the association L'Heure du Livre et du Conte has been reaching out to children and families in the Ségala carmausin region and beyond. Reading illustrated albums aloud plays a leading role in developing language skills. A true gateway into the world of writing and oral expression, this emotionally rich journey allows children, from a very young age, to feel connected to themselves, to others, and to the world. Our distinctive feature: we have a mobile reading space that operates in both urban and rural areas. This specially equipped truck welcomes curious young and old alike for hours of reading and singing every Wednesday! Our team also meets with local residents in public and non-profit organizations that host us in their facilities: schools, early childhood learning centers, media libraries, day camps, and charitable associations.
