HAPA - Hébergement Accueil en Pays d'Apt

HAPA is a nonprofit association (established under French law 1901) founded in 1995 and offering emergency shelter to the most vulnerable in Apt (Vaucluse). At L'Escale, a welcoming facility, they find volunteers who make no judgments but welcome and listen to them, helping restore their desire and ability to get back on their feet. In collaboration with social services, administrative and medical authorities, HAPA guides and assists them to leave L'Escale better equipped. HAPA's capacity is approximately fifteen people. Active in the Apt region, H.A.P.A., a structure founded on humanitarian principles and supported by numerous local, national, institutional and private stakeholders, is a vital force attentive to the needs and major, growing difficulties faced by many men and women. For this reason, it is in constant evolution and therefore always seeking new donors and volunteers to welcome and support the most disadvantaged people.
