Habitat & Humanisme - 27 Eure

Habitat et Humanisme was created in 1985 in Lyon by Bernard Devert, who was a real estate professional at the time and later became a priest. The association's origins are rooted in the birth of a Resistance movement in a context of economic crisis and housing shortage. The first "ghetto neighborhoods" were appearing on the outskirts of major cities, while renovated and revitalized city centers were displacing lower-income populations.
