HABITAT ET HUMANISME URGENCE

A member of the Habitat and Humanisme Movement, committed for 40 years to housing and social integration for people in difficulty, the association Habitat and Humanisme Urgence (HHU) works specifically on emergency situations, offering comprehensive responses to the accommodation and social support needs of the most vulnerable. Through more than thirty facilities providing 2,400 places across France, HHU welcomes primarily people in situations of extreme vulnerability (women victims of violence, homeless people, etc.) as well as displaced persons (asylum seekers and refugees) within state-funded programs. Each year, Habitat and Humanisme Urgence supports 3,800 people, enabling them to become actors in their own lives once again. The association provides specialized, comprehensive support: socio-administrative procedures, healthcare, legal assistance and employment integration, so that everyone can rebuild their lives with dignity and respect.
