Habitat et Humanisme PO

Habitat et Humanisme Pyrénées Orientales has been active since September 2005 in support of housing and social integration for people in difficult circumstances. The association is part of the Habitat et Humanisme Federation, created in 1985 and recognized as being in the public interest, which brings together 58 local associations covering 80 departments. Habitat et Humanisme Pyrénées Orientales (HH PO) welcomes and supports families in central Perpignan by owning or managing housing. We offer tailored pathways suited to each person's needs with the objective of helping them achieve independence in their neighborhood. Operating as a genuine laboratory for social innovation, our solutions are bold and sustainable, built around four principles: Social diversity and territorial inclusion through the choice of balanced neighborhoods, A team of trained and operational volunteers and staff on the ground, Innovative and effective funding mechanisms—pioneers in solidarity savings, consolidated private and institutional partnerships—and a solidarity cooperative (AIVS). The association thus positions its work within the broader ecosystem of local stakeholders.
