Frères des Hommes

Founded in 1965, Frères des Hommes is a non-denominational and apolitical international solidarity association. Facing a political, economic and social system that generates inequality and exclusion, we have made it our mission to be an agent of social transformation. In France, working with our volunteer teams and local partners, we create civic engagement dynamics through: awareness-raising activities, collective solidarity initiatives and training programs that inspire people to take action. The idea? Build connections, share desires for change, and most importantly, build together. Abroad, we work in close collaboration with local associations to develop training-action projects with people in vulnerable situations. The idea? Support local dynamics and strengthen the capacity to act based on territorial realities. As a network, we co-manage the "Training to Transform" network, a space for exchanging practices and co-producing knowledge between associations from different countries. The idea? Share our practices there, learn from one another, and jointly build knowledge that is useful for better supporting populations.
