A non-profit organization recognized as serving the public interest, the Heritage Foundation is the leading advocate for charitable giving in support of heritage. Its priority is safeguarding local heritage, unprotected and endangered, in all its diversity: mills, theaters, factories, places of worship, historic homes, and natural spaces. The Foundation operates throughout France alongside local authorities, individuals, and associations, through its 21 regional branches and 100 departmental branches. Thanks to the support of donors and more than 1,000 volunteers, the Heritage Foundation saves over 2,000 sites each year and actively contributes to local life, job creation, and the transmission of traditional skills.
