4 missions available

France's leading national food aid network with 111 locations including in overseas territories, Food Banks collect and purchase over 128,000 tonnes of products each year from agribusiness industries, farmers, major retailers and the general public, with support from the European Union and the French State. Thanks to more than 7,636 volunteers and 682 employees, they support nearly 2.4 million people and distribute 223 million meals as well as hygiene products through 6,044 partner associations, Community Social Action Centers (CCAS) and social grocery stores. Food Banks are drivers of social support, notably through Bons gestes & bonne assiette®, an innovative program for health prevention and conviviality around food. They have also established a direct distribution network, RAYON®, in areas where current supply remains insufficient. Food Banks develop local projects with strong social impact: food product transformation workshops, short supply chains and solidarity initiatives, mobile distribution, and integration workshops and worksites. The French Federation of Food Banks has been recognized as serving the public interest since February 22, 2023.
