Founded in 1964 by two cardiologist researchers and clinicians, Professors Jean Lenègre and Pierre Soulié, our organization has been fighting cardiovascular disease for over 50 years, the second leading cause of death in France with approximately 150,000 deaths per year. The association's 4 missions: Develop prevention to raise awareness among the largest number of French people about the dangers of cardiovascular disease and the means to prevent it. Finance research and provide support to researchers. Support heart patients in specialized facilities. Train people in life-saving techniques to spare lives.
