The Carmaux FabLab is a space for creation, discovery, experimentation, repair, knowledge sharing, social connection and collaboration. The themes we explore center on digital technology, sciences, ecology and artistic culture. Our digital advisors support users in their online activities and help them become comfortable with digital tools. This community workshop is inclusive, intergenerational and open to everyone. Users can take advantage of a free-access computer room, a woodworking and DIY workshop, as well as several digital fabrication machines, such as 3D printers. We thus respond to our audience's curiosity, promote cultural openness and the development of critical thinking, and sometimes we even inspire vocations among young people, fostering a spirit of civic engagement and commitment within our association. A FabLab to discover, learn, create, repair, recycle, co-build, assemble, design, program, draw, model… and thrive.
