The ESPRIT SHAOYIN association was created in July 2016 with the mission of teaching and promoting QI GONG and Internal Martial Arts, in order to contribute to public health prevention policies aimed at maintaining wellness. Qi Gong is a Chinese psychosomatic practice, recognized in 2013 as a "complementary therapy" by the Academy of Medicine. ESPRIT SHAOYIN was contracted (2017-2021) by the Oise Department for the prevention of loss of autonomy among seniors. ESPRIT SHAOYIN is part of the MONALISA network (Fighting the isolation of elderly people) and leads a team of around a dozen volunteers providing individualized support (home visits, games, reading) and facilitating the return to collective activities for isolated people over 60 years old across 17 municipalities around Clermont de l'Oise, following a request from the Department.
