We have already established 17 schools in or near priority neighbourhoods under the city policy framework, because we refuse to accept that educational and cultural inequalities are inevitable. We address a dual challenge of educational and cultural equity. We work to prevent school dropout from an early age. We want to provide children in disadvantaged neighbourhoods with quality education and learning, thereby promoting a peaceful social life.
