Dragonfly Flight is a non-profit association (under French law 1901) that works for families affected by cognitive and/or intellectual disabilities. Created on March 12, 2024 by a team of committed volunteers, it organizes family gatherings several times a year. Its goal is to develop additional initiatives for families in the future, such as: - Support groups - Respite outings for mothers who are caregivers - Respite outings for fathers who are caregivers - Tools and awareness-raising activities about the caregiver experience - Outings for teenagers with cognitive and/or intellectual disabilities - Respite weekends for families - And more. Currently, we are looking for volunteers to participate in family gatherings. The objective is to welcome families affected by cognitive and/or intellectual disabilities for friendly gatherings several times a year (approximately 5 Saturdays per year). During these events, volunteers are there to: - Propose activities for children with disabilities as well as their siblings (crafts, outdoor games, reading, etc.) - Provide refreshments for families - Engage in conversation with parents and other family members - Set up equipment before families…
