Mediterranean Issues is both a think tank and a field-based organization working to promote dialogue and exchanges between the two shores of the Mediterranean. The association grounds its work in an approach based on universal principles of human rights enshrined in international instruments. It works to advance the development of democratic institutions and the principles of freedom and equality. It fights against all forms of discrimination (based on gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, etc.). The association places particular emphasis on third-generation human rights and sustainable development issues, particularly climate-related challenges.
