The Protestant Scouts of France (Les Éclaireuses et Éclaireurs Unionistes de France) is a scouting movement open to all, serving young people aged 8 to 19. Scouting is a popular education movement, by and for young people, which relies on the voluntary commitment of its members. Our ambition is to guide each young person toward their fulfillment and autonomy, to educate them in encounter and solidarity with the goal of forming citizens who are engaged and capable of taking action to transform society. These ambitions are embodied in and through the Scout Method, which offers fundamental elements to enable the fulfillment and autonomy of all. The Protestant Scouts of France are organized by age groups, starting from age 8 and in gender-mixed settings, thus promoting peer education and mentorship of younger members by older ones.
