The Girl Guides and Boy Scouts of France The Girl Guides and Boy Scouts of France (EEDF) is a secular scouting movement committed to youth education and building a fairer, more solidarity-based and environmentally respectful society. Founded in 1911, the movement is built on values of openness, tolerance and civic engagement, and welcomes members regardless of belief or background. EEDF Avignon, a second group in the making! We are creating a new scout group based in Avignon. Our collective already brings together parents and volunteer leaders, united in giving children and young people the chance to experience scouting adventure. Goal: to offer activities for each age group, from Sprites (ages 6-8) to Seniors (ages 17-19). Varied and enriching activities Our programs combine outdoor adventures, creative projects, educational workshops and social gatherings. Based on learning through action, the scouting we practice encourages independence, cooperation and self-improvement.
