Founded in 1974, ECTI is France's leading organization dedicated to skills-based volunteering for active retirees. Initially focused on international cooperation, the association has expanded its scope to support French businesses, local authorities, education, and the social and solidarity economy both in France and internationally. ECTI has held public utility status since 1990. In doing so, it meets the criteria of public interest, national reach, democratic governance, and financial stability.
