The Éclaireuses et Éclaireurs Unionistes de France are a Protestant scouting movement open to all, serving young people aged 8 to 19. Scouting is a popular education movement, by and for young people, based on the voluntary commitment of its members. Our ambition is to support each individual toward their fulfilment and independence, to educate them in encounter and solidarity with the aim of forming citizens who are engaged and capable of acting to transform society. These ambitions are embodied in and through the Scout Method, which offers fundamental elements to enable the fulfilment and independence of all. The Éclaireuses et Éclaireurs Unionistes de France operate in age groups, starting from age 8 and in gender-mixed settings, thereby promoting peer education and mentoring of younger members by older ones.
