Eclaireuses Eclaireurs de France - Aubervilliers

1 mission available

The Association of Éclaireurs Éclaireurs of France (EEDF or the Éclé·es) is a secular scouting movement rooted in popular education and recognized as complementary to public schools. The Aubervilliers group is based in the Aubervilliers town hall district and brings together children and young adults from the city and surrounding towns (Saint-Denis, Pantin, Paris, etc.). It is built around the values of secular scouting: solidarity, respect for the environment, team spirit and adventure. Currently, we offer monthly activities for Lutins (ages 6-8), Louveteaux (ages 8-11) and Éclaireurs (ages 11-15), whose numbers grow each year. We aim to be able to offer the Éclé adventure to Aînés (ages 15-18) within one or two years. Our mission: To contribute to building a better world by training engaged citizens who are aware of their society's challenges and committed to addressing them through the scouting method. Becoming a member of the Éclé·es means embarking on a full-scale adventure: going on hikes, sleeping under the stars, cooking over a wood fire, putting on a show, traveling to meet scouts from around the world, building ecological and solidarity projects, training in activity…
