Friendly Educational Mutual Aid (E.S.A) is an association established under the French law of 1901, approved as a complement to public education, recognized as being in the public interest, non-profit, apolitical and non-denominational, created in 1969. Every year 80,000 children leave the school system without a diploma. E.S.A's mission is to combat school failure with a concern for equity. Academic support takes place at the child's home (when possible) in Saint-Maur, once a week.
