E.S.A. de Lille-Lambersart

Based on the principle that all children deserve equal opportunity, Entraide Scolaire Amicale (E.S.A.) has been mentoring children facing academic difficulties from disadvantaged families for over 55 years. The objective is to guide them toward success and independence. Each year, E.S.A. mentors more than 5,500 children and young people throughout France thanks to the commitment of its volunteers. Whether active professionals, retirees, students, or secondary school pupils, all share the same desire to share knowledge and take concrete action for equal opportunity. Our work supports children enrolled in school from primary through final year of secondary education. It is built around three pillars: - Accompanying the child throughout their academic journey: to restore their confidence and desire to learn; helping them review fundamentals and develop effective study methods; enabling them to take an active role in planning their future; - Opening the child's eyes to the world around them and expanding their sense of possibilities; - Supporting parents in becoming involved in their child's education and facilitating parent-school relationships.
