For 50 years, E.S.A. and its volunteers have been promoting academic success for all by supporting children whose parents are unable to help them or provide tutoring due to lack of knowledge and financial resources. Each year, 80,000 children leave the school system without a diploma. E.S.A.'s mission is to combat school failure with a commitment to equity. Based on the principle that all children deserve equal opportunity, it offers volunteer support to students whose parents cannot help them or afford tutoring due to lack of knowledge and financial means. Our work targets schoolchildren from primary through final secondary year. It is built on three pillars: individualized support for each child to rebuild their confidence and foster independence; raising parental awareness of the importance of academic work; and opening children's horizons through cultural outings.
