For 50 years, E.S.A. and its volunteers have been promoting academic success for all by supporting children whose parents cannot help them or afford to hire help due to lack of knowledge and financial means. Each year, 80,000 children leave the school system without a diploma. E.S.A.'s mission is to combat school failure with a commitment to equity. Based on the principle that all children deserve an equal chance, it offers volunteer support to students whose parents cannot help them or afford to hire help due to lack of knowledge and financial means. Our work is directed toward school-age children from primary through final secondary year. It is organized around three main areas: personalized support for each child to restore confidence and foster independence; raising parent awareness of the importance of schoolwork; and opening children's horizons through cultural outings.
