The Deux-Amis association was created to restore and operate with an ambitious program the boat Les Deux amis, listed in the Inventory of Historic Monuments. We aim to go beyond the simple goal of preserving navigating heritage. The boat can become a perfectly suited tool for promoting green and inclusive tourism, raising awareness of ecological issues, discovering renewable marine energies and educating young people, while making the sea accessible to all. The project carried by the Deux-Amis association has multiple objectives and requirements: 1. Preservation of a unique navigating heritage in Normandy 2. Demanding overhaul to ensure the ship's sustainability and secure its funding 3. Digitization of the hull, a first step in heritage preservation 4. Operation of this boat within an associative framework for the benefit of all 5. Training of young shipwrights
