Cultures du Coeur - Savoie

The association aims to combat exclusion and promote social integration of the most disadvantaged people by facilitating their access to culture, sports and leisure activities. Each year, on a national scale, 350,000 invitations (access to live performances, concerts, museums, etc.) are made available to people in precarious situations. Cultures du Cœur structures its work around the concept of "cultural permanence," a genuine civic space serving people in situations of exclusion. These are regular meetings and significant gathering times for sharing around culture. Located in local associations, partner social structures, and permanence spaces, they are mediation spaces between social workers and the public. They are where actions are defined, designed and implemented to offer people in situations of exclusion cultural outings. Social sector professionals rely on our system, aware that access to cultural practices is a lever for integration and remobilization, allowing them to work with an additional tool.
