Cultures du Coeur Alpes du Sud 04-05

The activities of Cultures du Cœur are part of a commitment to fighting exclusion and recognize equal access to culture for all people throughout their lives as a fundamental right. Our project therefore targets people and families living in severe precarity and is based on the conviction that culture is a genuine tool for personal development and civic learning, enabling the people we support to resume social engagement, regain self-confidence and greater autonomy, improve family relationships, increase mobility, and foster personal commitment. To achieve this, Cultures du Cœur works with the following social organizations: emergency shelter and reintegration centers, children's homes, Solidarity Houses, Prison Insertion and Probation Services, Youth Judicial Protection, Municipal Social Action Centers, local employment services, and others. Our work is not limited to a ticketing service, however—this service is only one foundation of our action. Cultures du Cœur also promotes the development of amateur artistic practice workshops, brings together social and cultural actors, and animates this network.
