Culture Lub is an association that has existed since 1978 and seeks to promote contemporary creation, specifically focusing on arts in public spaces. The organization's varied program of activities serves a very broad audience: hosting artists in residence, offering cultural programming throughout the year, theater workshops, interventions in schools and other settings, and its flagship event, the Grand ménage de printemps, an essential street arts festival that takes place at the end of April over approximately ten days. The association's overall direction and management is ensured by a Board of Directors. Programming and coordination of the cultural season and festival are based on a team of arts professionals and a dedicated volunteer team active throughout the year. This is supplemented by approximately 80 volunteers present during the festival period. Volunteers are involved at all levels: welcoming the public, welcoming artists, logistics, refreshments, catering, decoration, communication, and more.
