The Northern Cotentin local unit of the Red Cross has several areas of activity: first aid training, emergency response (extreme cold, accidents, floods, etc.), refugee reception, food assistance for the destitute, clothing assistance for those in need (though the shop is open to everyone at affordable prices), and visits to isolated and elderly people.
