Croix-Rouge Française - Unité locale de Lille

With nearly 500 committed volunteers, the Red Cross of the Lille metropolitan area works every day to alleviate suffering and help those in need. Our local unit operates across the entire metropolitan territory, with five public-facing locations in Lille, Roubaix, Tourcoing, Wattignies, and Templemars. We also reach out to communities through outreach work, first aid stations, prevention and first aid interventions at schools, events, and associations. Our teams carry out the three major volunteer missions of the French Red Cross: - Prevention and Education: raising awareness, providing training and support to reduce risks and strengthen resilience. - Protection: providing relief, emergency preparedness systems, and support to populations in emergency situations. - Recovery and Social Connection: combating exclusion, supporting the most vulnerable, and rebuilding human bonds.
