The French Red Cross acts to protect and support without condition those in vulnerable situations and build their resilience with them. A non-profit association under the 1901 law, auxiliary to public authorities in the humanitarian field and a major player in the social and solidarity economy, we bring together various entities to ensure the agility and efficiency of our organization necessary for the quality of our responses. With a dual identity as an association and social and solidarity economy actor, we unite within the same community volunteers and members who work in our local units. The heart of our mission is emergency and operations, first aid, social action, youth and citizenship.
