La Caravelle is a social action association that works with public authorities in the field of public social policy. It operates across 4 areas of activity and 10 services and facilities covering: housing and social and professional integration, child protection, support for migrants and asylum seekers, and protection of women victims of violence. Founded in 1979. Opened at the end of 2023 around the Étang de Berre, La Caravelle's CPH de l'Étang welcomes, houses and supports people who have received international protection status to help them on their integration journey (training, employment, health, education, housing, culture). Each path is unique but the objective is shared: to build autonomy so they can begin writing a new chapter.
