The CLAB is primarily a conservation garden of heirloom vegetables, small fruits, and annual or perennial plants, comprising approximately 500 plant species. It also features an orchard of 120 fruit trees of heirloom and local varieties. It is a site with multiple areas of expertise. The main missions of our association are: - cultivating heirloom or "forgotten" varieties; - preserving floristic and faunistic biodiversity; - raising public awareness about environmental conservation; - preserving intangible cultural heritage through the establishment and development of an ethnobotany center; - collecting plant specimens. The association has established a conservation garden-orchard, open to the public, which serves as a venue for: * organizing educational workshops, providing training to the general public, and running workshops for young people and school groups * implementing cultivation methods based on ecological transition * organizing festive, recreational and educational events.
