Located in Sammarçolles (86), in a green and rural setting, the Life and Welcome Centre (LVA) of La Chacunière offers family-style support to 8 adolescents under child protection services. It operates in accordance with the Association's Charter of the 6 A's (Family Welcoming, Attachment, Psycho-educational Support, Access to Care, Learning Autonomy, Parental Support) and provides personalized and tailored responses to each situation. The Life and Welcome Centre "La Chacunière" is run by the CFSE (French Committee for Aid to Children) and is a member of UNION POUR L'ENFANCE. Our mission is to educate, support, and protect young people so they can progressively develop their independence. This primary mission is based on welcoming, protection, care, listening, and support. We want to enable each young person to find their equilibrium in a family-like and warm atmosphere. Our primary goal is for young people to learn to know themselves and to understand the world around them so they are able to build a life project that suits them and is grounded in reality. Support workers run the living space during the day and share daily life in residential units in Loudin.
