Comité des Jeunes Mandolociens

COJEM (Committee of Young People from Mandelieu) is the association for young people in Mandelieu. Our objective is to promote civic engagement through our actions at events, to propose improvements, and to carry out various projects. COJEM is a project that has been carefully developed and is intended to evolve. It is the story of three friends who observed a significant gap between young people and institutions, as well as a decline in civic engagement, particularly at the local level. They wanted to find a solution, which led to this project. An association that wishes to move forward hand in hand with the municipality of Mandelieu while maintaining autonomy in its management and development. Young people are capable of bringing forward ideas and mobilizing themselves; history has proven this many times over. Through this project, we therefore want to unite the young people of Mandelieu so that COJEM becomes one of the central actors in daily life. The local dimension is what matters most to us in our lives, which is why we must mobilize so that young people can be represented, express their ideas, and take action on a daily basis through projects, events, and meetings.
