Founded in 1918, the League Against Cancer is a non-profit organization recognized as being in the public interest, operating through public generosity and the commitment of its volunteers and staff members. The CD08 was established in 1957, the year of the official recognition of departmental committees. Today our national federation is composed of 103 departmental committees present throughout the national territory and overseas.
